Aniruddha Bhaktibhav Chaitanya... the evening of pure joy and love

31st December 2019 - the day that every shraddhavan was looking forward to.... This was the day of the mega-event - the 'once in a lifetime' program - where every shraddhavan would get the opportunity to spend 9-10 hrs with their beloved Sadguru (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi). The icing on the cake was that this was to happen on the last day of 2019. On this day shraddhavans were to drown themselves in Bhaktibhav Chaitanya (Sadguru Devotion Sentience).

The day started quite early and within no time, the D.Y Patil stadium was packed to its capacity. The sense of self-discipline that Sadguru Shree Aniruddha has inculcated among his followers was on display with shraddhavans forming queues and waiting patiently for all the necessary security checks to get inside the ground. With over 40,000 people one can imagine the amount of littering and other such things - but that was not to be seen here.

The entire crowd came to life when the giant screens on the ground showed drone footages of Bapu's cavalcade approaching the stadium. The crowd erupted with joy - with mixed emotions all around - some having tears in their eyes, some clapping, others just watching with love as Bapu got down from his car. After Bapu's arrival, one was just waiting for the program to start and finally that moment arrived..... with the background of the gajar 'Kaliyug men ek hi traata Aniruddha Ram re, mere sang chaale bole mera jag jethi re', Bapu made his grand entry on the stage. Just a couple of sentences from Him were enough to set the mood and the mega-satang started as soon as Bapu sat on his seat - very aptly with the abhang 'Samori baisla kaisa maj disla Bapuraya'.

One after the other, various abhangs were performed on the stage. The Nivedan or the compering was something to look forward to after each abhang, it was very crisp,  very touching and conveyed the emotions of every shraddhavan. Bapu's immeasurable love could be seen in His eyes during every abhang, It was heavenly joy to witness these abhangs in His presence. The backdrop of the stage was wonderfully made and it complemented the meaning of the abhang. Some unforgettable moments were when Bapu danced to abhangs like Savala Sunder, Chal chal jau Narada chya gaava, Bhargos misha and many others.

All in all, the entire event was a grand success... which it was always meant to be as it was Bapu's Sankalp to spend the entire day with His shraddhavan friends, His children...

Although there were several highlights or moments which will stay etched in the minds forever, the one that stands out is surely the abhang "Bapu bhetla jay kshani". The 40,000+ crowd waving their mobile torches to symbolize the light or rather the illumination that has spread in the lives of shraddhavans, was just a sight to behold.

Planning and organizing such an event takes a lot of efforts and time as well. Even then, the heart keeps wanting more and more... Ye Dil Maange More!!

Just looking forward to relive these moments when it becomes available on DVD or app.

The Real Votive

Many of us are uncertain about offering of votive (नवस or मन्नत) to God. In the discourse dated 8th May 2014, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) has explained in very simple words on what a true votive should be. This clip of 4 mins will give a clarity on this.

The Unstoppable

Greetings to all !!!

This is the first post on my new blog (url www.aniruddhafriend-rohansinh.blogspot.in).

You would be wondering why the term ‘Aniruddha Friend’ in the blog title. Aniruddha (meaning Unstoppable) is the name of my Mentor and Guide, My beloved Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi, MD Medicine). I am dedicating this blog to the Lotus feet of my Sadguru, who, as he says is a Friend who would never betray.

My Sadguru, just like his name Aniruddha, is simply unstoppable. I can conclusively say this after being under his shelter for more than 13 yrs now. Within this span of 13+ years, I have seen few of the seemingly innumerable facets of him.

I started this beautiful journey on his path in the year 2002 when I was an Engineering student with Mumbai University. The thing which appealed to me then was the precision and clarity of his thoughts and the simple way in which he laid them. After Graduation, I had almost a year before I finally landed up with a job with one of the most renowned IT company Tata Consultancy Services. It was during this 1 year that I got introduced to several devotional services laid down by Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu. I got a chance to work in several of those such as Charkha Yojana (Spinning wheel project), Raddi yojana (creating useful things from used paper), Imparting training on Disaster management through ‘Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management’, June te Sone (Old is Gold – distribution of used clothes and household items to the needy), Eco-friendly Ganpati murti preparation and many others. These initiatives were introduced by Bapu in his speech on the 13-point programme on 3-Oct-2002.

Through his discourses, he puts forth very simple yet effective principles of Life Science. He also explains it with the basis of scientific examples, which is what appealed to me initially. My college friends were surprised as such things are usually assumed to be done after retirement… But some things, as we say, just cannot be explained. You have to experience it yourself.

Bapu’s discourses are directly related to practical aspects of our lives. One of the best example is his speech on ‘Self-health’  on the 13th of December 2014 at Andheri Sports Complex. Putting to rest various misconceptions about health and food he laid down simple yet effective ways of leading a healthy life.

He always maintains that one must stay up-to-date with newer trends and technology; in the year 2003 he had said that in 12-15 years one who cannot use a computer would be compared to an illiterate. Through his discourses and Seminars, he has touched topics such as Swarm Intelligence, Jugaad, Nano-technology, Quantum Physics, Artificial Intelligence, Lasers, Satellites, Hologaphy... just to name a few. Being a Doctor, he is very well conversant with Finance, Law, International affairs etc. The book penned by him on the subject of the Third World War and article from the magazine Lokprabha on FinancialTerrorism stand witness to this fact.

Bapu has imparted training in ancient Martial arts, conducted Marathi classes, studied Homeopathy and addressed seminars on the subject, directed plays while he was in school and college, actively participated in sports... just to mention a few of his innumerable facets. One thing that stands apart is his non-tolerance of injustice. I know people who have seen him even go to the extent of bashing hooligans, that too when he was a renowned Doctor - without even thinking about his stature then.

The number of his followers, since I initially joined this family in 2002, has increased multiple folds now and it just seems to go on and on. Experiences that his followers come across follow a similar upward graph, be it Medical, personal, financial or any other. His non-stop efforts leading towards a single aim that all his friends live a happy and self-sustained life.

As I said at the beginning, Unstoppable, just Unstoppable… the name says it all !!
